I recommend it if you want the classic Heat 1995 masterpiece in the 4K version. This Heat 4K SteelBook version includes three discs: a physical and digital code for the 4K version of Heat 1995 a 1080p Bluray version and Heat 1995 extras such as behind the scenes and the making of the film on another disc. With that being said, buying this 4K copy is worth it for me. I could confidently say that with the right equipment and a TV with a good brightness setting, the dark scene would not be an issue for you. Obsessive master thief Neil McCauley leads a top-notch crew on various daring heists throughout Los Angeles while determined detective Vincent Hanna pursues him without rest. I watched it on a Hisense U8G 55" 4k TV, which has a peak brightness of up to 1500 nits! So, the dark scenes weren't an issue for me since my TV is extremely bright. AKA:, Fogo Contra Fogo, Fuego contra fuego. The 4K transfer actually looks much more realistic, plus the details are amazing compared to the 1080p version. I saw a lot of negative feedback about the 4K transfer being too dark in certain scenes. As a collector, this is a great addition if you love the original Heat and want a copy of the 4K version as well.
Heat (1995) is probably one of the greatest best-action crime drama films ever made.
